MONCKS CORNER — Michael Colucci burst into tears as a judge dismissed the murder case against him June 17 before his retrial could open, declaring him a free man after finding law enforcement, and maybe prosecutors, hid evidence from him since his first trial.
Meanwhile, two women looped their arms through those of Sara Lynn Colucci’s mother — Barbara Moore, and helped usher the nearly limp woman out of the Berkeley County Courthouse after the judge said he was sending a message about not tolerating prosecutorial misconduct.
