BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The Summerville man charged in his wife’s 2015 death says he’s very grateful after a judge dismissed the indictment the same day opening statements were expected to begin.
Michael Colucci had been charged with murder in the death of his wife, Sara Moore-Colucci, at their family’s jewelry store warehouse in Summerville.
Judge Roger Young returned from a lengthy recess after the defense filed a motion to dismiss, citing misconduct on the part of prosecutors, and announced he was quashing the indictment without prejudice.
